Classic Westport Spice Salsa Recipe
1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup diced onions
2 tablespoons Olde Westport Border Bandito’s Salsa Spice Blend®
2 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)
2 chopped jalapenos (optional)
Blend all ingredients in a bowl, seal and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with youur favorite tortilla chips.
Options: For a milder salsa, use Mexican stewed tomatoes and omit diced tomatoes with green chiles. Add 1 tablespoon lime juice for a sharper flavor.
