Spice Up Your Thanksgiving

My favorite time of year is upon us. Thanksgiving is that special day when families gets together and we share meals, stories and laughter. In my family we also share family recipes that have been perfected and passed down through the generations. Here is one of my favorites. I hope it will become one of your family favorites as well. My Very Favorite Stuffed Potato

6 Large Baking Potatoes 8 Ounces Fresh Mushrooms, Sliced ½ Small Onion, Finely Chopped (should be about a ½ cup.) 2 ¼ Teaspoons Old Westport Gold Coast Garlic Shake®, Divided 2 Teaspoons Soy Sauce, Divided 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil 1 (8 ounce) Carton Non-fat Sour Cream or Yogurt 2 Green Onions, Chopped 8 Ounces (2 cups) 50 percent Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Bake or microwave potatoes until cooked through. Set aside until cool enough to handle. Carefully slice ¼ top off lengthwise and remove insides leaving about a ¼ inch wall. Meanwhile, saute mushrooms, onion, 1 ¼ teaspoons Olde Westport Gold Coast Garlic Shake® and soy sauce in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil until onion is transparent. In a bowl, blend reserve potato, sour cream (yogurt), green onion and half cheddar cheese. Add mushroom mixture to potatoes, stir. Scoop potato mixture back into shells pushing mixture down, forming an indentation on top. Sprinkle remaining Olde Westport Gold Coast Garlic Shake® and remaining cheese over top. Bake in a 350 degree oven for thirty minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Serves 6
