Oriental Stir-Fry

Oriental Stir-Fry with Beef and Vegetables

Serves 6

1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, trimmed weight
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 medium onion, cut in 8 wedges
1 bunch green onions, cut into 1 inch slices
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 16-oz packaged Chinese (Oriental) stir-fry vegetables, thawed
1/2 cup water
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons Olde Westport Cattleman's Choice Beef Sauce Blend
3 cups hot cooked rice

Trim all fat from steak and slice into 1/4 inch strips. Heat oil in wok or large skillet. Stir fry meat 2 minutes. Add all vegetables and stir fry until vegetables are crisp-tender. Combine water, soy sauce, ginger and Olde Westport Cattleman's Choice Beef Sauce Blend in a cup. Add to vegetables stirring until thickened. Remove and serve over hot cooked rice.
