Homemade salsa is always a favorite with family members, friends, and guests alike! You can use this recipe for Mango-Mango Salsa for parties, appetizers, or just an afternoon snack. We also love being able to integrate fresh produce into recipes with our special spice blends. Enjoy!
Makes 3 cups
2 cups diced fresh mango
1 small red bell pepper, diced (1 cup)
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped (about 2 tablespoons), or to taste
1 tablespoon key lime juice or white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1 clove garlic, finely minced
2 teaspoons Olde Westport Border Bandito's Salsa Spice Blend
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, cover and refrigerate minimum of 60 minutes before serving with regular or blue tortilla chips.
