Bacon and Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

This recipe for mashed potatoes is sure to please! It serves four.

Bacon and Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

  • 2 1/2 pounds potatoes (about 4 to 5 medium potatoes), unpeeled, quartered
  • 1/2 cup milk or enough for desired consistency
  • 1/2 cup salad dressing (not mayonnaise)
  • 4 tablespoons real bacon bits
  • 2 tablespoons Olde Westport Garden Harvest Special Blend
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mild Cheddar cheese

Cover potatoes with water in large saucepan. Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat to medium. Cook 20 minutes or until fork tender, drain. Add milk (just enough for desired consistency), salad dressing, bacon bits and Olde Westport Garden Harvest Special Blend, mash potatoes, beat until fluffy, stir in cheese.
