Antonio's Deep Dish Sausage Pie Florentine
1 package frozen bread dough (white or wheat), thawed
1 lb pork breakfast sausage
1 small onion, chopped
2 large eggs
8 oz Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 10-oz package chopped spinach, thaw and drain
3 oz cream cheese, cut in small cubes
3 tablespoons Antonio's Italian Spice Blend
1 tablespoon milk
Cut off two-thirds bread dough (or use your crust recipe). Roll out in circle and place in a greased deep dish pie plate. Brown sausage and onion in skillet, drain. In a large bowl combine remaining ingredients, except milk, with sausage. Spoon into pie dish. Roll out remaining bread dough in circle and place over top sealing edges with moist fingers. Pierce top with fork to allow steam to escape without baking. Brush top with milk. Place into a 400-degree preheated oven for 30 minutes or until top browned. Remove and let sit 5 minutes to firm up for slicing. Enjoy!
