Spicy Pimento Cheese Spread
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup Hellman's® (Best Foods) mayonnaise (use the real stuff)
3 tablespoons finely minced white or yellow onion
4 teaspoons Olde Westport Sizzlin' Sunset Cajun Spice Blend®
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (or extra sharp)
2 cups (8 ounces shredded Monterey Pepper Jack cheese
1 (4 ounce) jar pimentos, drained and minced
Combine first 5 ingredients in a mixing medium bowl, stir until smooth. Add cheeses and pimentos, stir until blended. Spoon into a storage bowl, seal, refrigerate for several hours before serving (preferably overnight).
Olde Bill's Comments: I like this spread a little spicier so I add extra Olde Westport Sizzlin' Sunset Cajun Spice Blend®. You be the judge. You can omit the pepper jack cheese and use all sharp Cheddar cheese if you like. Either way this is a great cheese spread.
