Easy Week Night Beef Stew

Serves 6

Ingredients: 

2 pounds cubed beef stew meat
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 (32 ounce) container Swanson’s Beef Stock® (4 cups)
6 tablespoons Olde Westport Cattlemen’s Choice Beef Sauce Spice Blend®, divided
1½ teaspoons dried rosemary
3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed (about 3 cups)
4 carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
4 stalks celery, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 medium onion, chopped (1½ cups)

Directions:

In a heavy 6 quart saucepan or dutch oven, cook beef in oil over medium-high heat until well browned. Add beef stock and 4 tablespoons Olde Westport Cattlemen’s Choice Beef Sauce Spice Blend®, stir. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, cover, lower heat, simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender. Stir in rosemary, potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion. Bring back to a boil, cover, cook 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in remaining Olde Westport Cattlemen’s Choice Beef Sauce Spice Blend®, stir, simmer 5 minutes. Serve with a salad and you’re ready for dinner.
