Chipped Beef On Toast
3 tablespoons butter
2 (2.5 ounce) packages corned beef, chopped
2 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons Olde Westport Cattlemen’s Choice Beef Sauce Blend®
3¼ cups milk
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
6 slices toast or biscuits
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add corned beef, cook 1 minute. Meanwhile, blend flour, Olde Westport Cattlemen’s Choice Beef Sauce Blend® and milk in a small bowl. Stir mixture into corned beef along with mushrooms. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring continuously until thickened. Lower heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over toast, toasted English muffins or biscuits.
Olde Bill’s Comments: You can make this ahead of time and keep in refrigerator. May need to thin with milk when reheating.
