Beefy Pasta N Pepper Bake

Serves 6


1½ pounds (24 ounces) 90% lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 green or red bell pepper, chopped
8 ounces veggie-colored rotini (corkscrew) pasta
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
4 tablespoons Olde Westport Cattlemen’s Choice Beef Sauce Blend®
12 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese


Brown ground beef, onion and bell pepper in a large skillet over medium-high heat, drain. Add tomato sauce and Olde Westport Cattlemen’s Choice Beef Sauce Blend®, stir. Bring mixture to a gentle boil, stirring until thickened, set aside. Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package directions, drain and set aside. In a 7×11 inch baking dish, layer half each of the macaroni, beef mixture and cheese, repeat. Bake in a 350 degrees oven 30 minutes, or until top layer of cheese is bubbly.
